    1 - Minimize a página.

    o ícone de um cadeado; além disso clique 2 vezes sobre esse ícone;

FDA Admits Cloned Meat, Milk May Have Already Entered Food Supply

    David Gutierrez
    NaturalNews
    Friday, Jan 30, 2009

The FDA has admitted that meat and milk from the offspring of cloned mammals such as cows, pigs, goats and sheep could very well have already entered the food supply in the United States.

“It is theoretically possible,” agency spokesperson Siobhan DeLancey said.

In January, the FDA declared that foods derived from cloned animals and their offspring were safe for human consumption. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, however, asked food companies to voluntarily maintain a ban on products from clones.

The voluntary ban did not extend to the offspring of cloned animals.

Clones are organisms artificially developed directly from the DNA of a single organism, rather than the mixing that is difficult in sexual reproduction. They are made by implanting the nucleus of an adult cell into an egg cell, which is then incubated by a surrogate mother.

According to critics of the technology, very little research has been conducted on the safety of consuming meat or dairy products from clones or their offspring, thus making it premature to bring such products to market.

“It worries me that this technology is out of control in so many ways,” said Charles Margulis of the Center for Environmental Health. He said that the FDA’s announcement that clones’ offspring might already been food supply “is just another element of that.”

A number of major U.S. food producers have announced that they will not use any ingredients derived from cloned animals, due in part to safety concerns. Companies enforcing a ban on clone products include Smithfield Foods, General Mills, Campbell Soup, Nestle, California Pizza Kitchen, Supervalu, Kraft Foods and Tyson Foods, the largest meat company in the United States.

Kraft said that consumer demand influenced its decision. “Research in the United States indicates that consumers are currently not receptive to ingredients from cloned animals,” said Director of Corporate Affairs Susan Davison

    Demoro !!!

    Brain Chip Implants

Professor Calls For "Google Type" BrainChip Implants brain

A New York Professor has advocated the idea of Google type brain implant chips that would "improve human memory", an idea which mirrors already active projects funded by the Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

"However difficult the practicalities, there’s no reason in principle why a future generation of neural prostheticists couldn’t pick up where nature left off, incorporating Google-like master maps into neural implants." writes New York University professor of psychology Gary Marcus.

"This in turn would allow us to search our own memories — not just those on the Web — with something like the efficiency and reliability of a computer search engine." he postulates.

"How much would you pay to have a small memory chip implanted in your brain if that chip would double the capacity of your short-term memory? Or guarantee that you would never again forget a face or a name?"

Clearly DARPA would pay quite a lot, given that the research arm of the US military continues to fund scientific development of that exact technology.

The justification for the continued funding of such research is to develop a substitute for damaged or diseased brain regions, holding promise for victims of Alzheimer's disease, stroke and other brain traumas.

Yet even the scientists currently at work on such projects know that the real application for the implant devices would be in the commercial and military sectors. After all, why would the Pentagon have such a keen interest in curing Alzheimer's?

    In 2003 Popular Science reported:

Medicine aside, Biomedical engineer Theodore Berger sees potential commercial and military applications for the brain chip, which is partially funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. Learning how to build sophisticated electronics and integrate them into human brains could one day lead to cyborg soldiers and robotic servants, he says.

In his Times piece, New York Professor Gary Marcus concludes:

"Would this turn us into computers? Not at all. A neural implant equipped with a master memory map wouldn’t impair our capacity to think, or to feel, to love or to laugh; it wouldn’t change the nature of what we chose to remember."

Clearly Mr Marcus has not considered that there is a very good reason why the human brain blocks out certain memories or feelings and why it correlates information in the way that it does.

Furthermore, cataloguing a person's memories on an external source invariably means that an entity external to that particular person, be it a company, corporation or government, could conceivably gain access to those memories.

The more that entity knows about the population, the more it can and inevitably will use that information to control it for their own benefit and profit.

This concept may seem completely outlandish to many, yet it has been the central focus of DARPA activities for some time with projects such as LifeLog, which seeks to gain a multimedia, digital record of everywhere a person goes and everything they see, hear, read, say and touch.

    Wired Magazine has reported:

On the surface, the project seems like the latest in a long line of DARPA’s “blue sky” research efforts, most of which never make it out of the lab. But DARPA is currently asking businesses and universities for research proposals to begin moving LifeLog forward.

"What national security experts and civil libertarians want to know is, why would the Defense Department want to do such a thing?" the article asks. The answer lies in the stated goal of the US military - "Total Spectrum Dominance".

Furthermore, Mr Marcus' assertions that the neuro technology would not be in any way dominant over a person's capacity to think, does not tally with DARPA's Brain Machine Interfaces enterprise, a $24 million project reported on in the August 5, 2003 Boston Globe.

The project is developing technology that "promises to directly read thoughts from a living brain - and even instill thoughts as well... It does not take much imagination to see in this the makings of a matrix-like cyberpunk dystopia: chips that impose false memories, machines that scan for wayward thoughts, cognitively augmented government security forces that impose a ruthless order on a recalcitrant population." The Globe reported.

Government funded advances in neurotechnology which also focus on developing the ability to essentially read people's minds should also set alarm bells ringing.

It is also well documented that the military and the federal government have been dabbling in mind control and manipulation experimentation for decades.

Mr Marcus may be a well meaning scientist and may very well see such technology as progressive for humanity, but when it is being developed by military commanders under governments that have killed and oppressed billions across the globe in the last century alone, the prospect becomes somewhat sullied to say the least.

While neuro implants represent the second phase of implantable chips, the technology has been in existence for over a decade and discussions on simple ID chipping of humans is now in the news regularly.

Tommy Thompson, the former Health and Human Services Secretary in the Bush administration, promised to have a chip implanted and is subsequently toured the country lauding the virtues of ID chips. During the the confirmation hearings for John Roberts Jr., George W. Bush's nominee for Supreme Court chief justice, Roberts was questioned by Senator Joseph R. Biden on whether he would rule against a mandatory implantable microchip to track American citizens.

Last year there was a congressional debate on whether airport workers could be mandated to have microchip implants.

Other workers have already been forced to take the chip.

Government workers in Mexico are being forced to take the chip or lose their job. Staff of Mexico's attorney general had to take the chip in order to access secure areas.

In February, a Cincinnati surveillance equipment company became the first U.S. business to use this application when a handful of employees voluntarily got implants to allow them to enter secure rooms.

In a trail blazing act in 2006 however, Governor Jim Doyle of Wisconsin signed a law declaring it a crime to require an individual to be implanted with a microchip. The people of Wisconsin welcomed the RFID law which imposes fine of up to $10,000 per day for a violator. The Bill was introduced by Rep. Marlin Schneider, D-Wisconsin.

A spotlight has recently been placed on chip implants by the London Times which ran a piece asking whether children should be implanted in the wake of the kidnapping of British toddler Madeleine McCann.

Debate also exists on the chipping on inmates, sex offenders and other vilified groups.

Another area in which the debate over chips rages is the medical profession. Last year, leaked British policy review documents revealed that the government has considered the notion of implanting anyone considered mentally unstable with a microchip.

We have also previously highlighted how implantable chips are being used for recreational purposes, to pay for drinks in bars. The Baja Beach club in Barcelona has championed the technology for years. Leading sports figures now carry chips in their clothing to track their performances, implantation has already been debated as the next step.

All manner of things from commerce to transport could one day forge the way towards a microchipped society.

Last year award winning director Aaron Russo, appearing on the Alex Jones show, stressed that the true intentions of the global elite, in particular the Rockefeller family, is a microchipped society. A society where you have no privacy, nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, whether you’re innocent, guilty, indifferent or impaired.

Consider that the first use of the technology was in tracking and tracing cattle and other animals.

A microchipped society sounds like something from a horrific science fiction movie, as ever fiction is being mirrored by reality as we now see it being debated in Congress.

The Age in Australia reported that within ten years the chip will be as common as cell phones are today. If the scheme became commonplace then it is estimated that around 75% of the population would be mandated to take the chips.

By pure coincidence (ahem) IBM, the company behind Verichip, the major retailer of implantable chips, also ran the cataloging system used by the Nazis to store information on Jews in Hitler's Germany.

To understand just how easily a microchipped society could quickly become reality, read this excellent piece from 2006 by Kevin Haggerty of the Toronto Star.

    Real Life Video Games.

Iso é coisa do passado.

More Scary Propaganda From the UN on Global Warming

    Ann Shibler
    JBS
    Wednesday November 21, 2007

The United Nations predicts very dire consequences due to global warming, setting the stage for world climate policies.

Follow this link to the original source: "No doubt global warming is real, UN panel says"

The UN's panel on climate change has issued the most amazing Chicken Little-style "the sky is falling," report ever. Climate "experts" from 140 national delegations assembled quite the list of worst-case scenario predictions:

    • A 4.6 foot average rise in sea levels, imperiling 1/5 to 2/3 of the worlds species
    • Water shortages for 75 to 250 million Africans by the year 2020
    • Extensive species loss in Europe
    • North American heat waves with resulting water shortages
    • Continuously rising temperatures at an ever quickening pace
    • The drowning of coastal cities due to the melting Greenland ice sheet
    • An inevitable 70 percent extinction of all plant and animal species
    • The spreading of hunger and disease worldwide
    • Fierce storms and more frequent droughts

Ban Ki-Moon, the UN secretary-general said, "The world's scientists have spoken clearly and with one voice. I expect the world's policy makers to do the same." Calling specifically on the United States and China he urged "the world's two biggest polluters" to do more to slow the effects of global warming saying, "Only urgent, global action will do." Yvo de Boer, the UN's top climate change official warned the report "will have an incredible political impact. It's a signal that politicians cannot afford to ignore."

But there are just as many scientists that have more than slight reservations about the global warming models and the policies suggested to remedy the problems those models predict. Respected leading scientists around the world who have spoken out in opposition to the UN's IPCC theories are Danish-born Bjorn Lomborg, MIT professor Richard S. Lindzen, Henk Tennekes from the Royal Dutch Meteorlogical Society, Aksel Winn-Nielsen, former director of the UN's World Meteorological Organization, and William Gray from Colorado State University. Further debunking of the UN's global warming scare tactics can be found in what is now a 38-part entertaining and informative series run by the Canada National Post entitled "The Deniers."

Ignoring findings that contradict the standard model of global warming, the UN is using the latest report to set the stage for another world conference to take place in Bali, Indonesia, in December. That conference would focus on replacing the 1997 Kyoto Protocol that the United States opted out of in 2001, and which didn't apply to China at all. The Kyoto treaty expires in 2012 and the push is on to replace it with even more restrictive measures.

This time it looks as though the United States is ready to acquiesce and accept a new treaty that would be even more restrictive than Kyoto. U.S. delegate Sharon Hays indicated that things are different now. In a phone call to the Associated Press she said: "What's changed since 2001 is the scientific certainty that this is happening." But China and India are likely to escape once again under the excuse that any measures affecting their development and efforts to lift their people from poverty are unacceptable.

    Economic Expert:

We Are Already In An Engineered Recession
50% chance there is going to be a 1929 style economic depression as pretext for regionalization, globalist interests

    day, August 15, 2007

Alex Jones was joined on air yesterday by investigative journalist, economic expert and Harvard Doctor of Political Science Jerome Corsi for an in depth discussion on the state of the economy and the engineered decline towards regionalization and a globalized monetary system.

Corsi warned that the crisis in the stock market we are currently witnessing is simply the tip of the iceberg and part of an overall meltdown that represents a gutting of the United States by neo-mercantilist institutions bent on the formation of a new global monopoly.

"We're gonna go through Stagflation, which is basically stagnation and inflation. We are already in a recession, it just hasn't been publicly declared yet. I think it will deepen through the rest of 2007 into 2008. Corsi stated.

"It's going to last several years, it's largely because we've lost so much of the manufacturing to China, even when our currency tanks, there are no exports we are producing anymore that will gain. The currency is gone, it is being sold off very quietly, worldwide, by the oil producing states, by China, the Euro is increasingly becoming our foreign exchange reserve currency.

The primary indices of inflation have been taken out of the indexes, food is not in and neither is energy prices. These two are going up hugely right now and are going to continue to go up."

Corsi warned that this is going to be the formula for producing the Amero, a continental solution to the tanking of the Dollar.

Listen to the entire eye opening interview here.

Last September Corsi received the first documents pertaining to a FOIA request asking for full disclosure of activities towards creating a Pan American Union.

The documents show that a wide range of US administrative law is being re-written in stealth under the Security and Prosperity Partnership program to "integrate" and "harmonize" with administrative law in Mexico and Canada, just as has become commonplace within the EU.

The documents contain references to upwards of 13 working groups within an entire organized infrastructure that has drawn from officials within most areas of administrative government including U.S. departments of State, Homeland Security, Commerce, Treasury, Agriculture, Transportation, Energy, Health and Human Services, and the office of the U.S. Trade Representative.

Corsi also reported that at a recent high-level confab in Banff, an assistant U.S. secretary of state, Thomas A. Shannon , chaired a panel that featured a presentation by Prof. Robert Pastor, author of a book promoting the development of a North American union as a regional government and the adoption of the Amero as a common monetary currency to replace the dollar and the peso.

Just a conspiracy theory? Not according to leading economists such as Steve Previs of Jefferies International who stated on CNBC, "I think one thing for people who are dollar based need to focus on is the Amero, that's the one thing that nobody is talking about that I think is going to have a big impact... on everybody's life in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico..."

A global crash and a totally devalued dollar that can barely rival the peso are greasing the skids for a single North American currency. This spells disaster for all Americans who wish to maintain their standard of living and not find themselves barefoot on the street in a bread queue.

Corsi went on to forecast a five to seven year deep recession:

"We will not recover from this for at least five years. If people think that housing values are dropped today it's nothing, housing values are going to go down fifty percent or more from the peak. We're going to come to a point when condominiums in certain markets are worthless.

It's not that there won't be buyers out there, there just won't be credit for them. You're going to have a credit crunch now, where even if you're qualified you're going to have to have 20% down and even then you might have a hard time getting a loan at a reasonable rate for a house."

Corsi urged anyone in the position to do so to quickly pay off any mortgages and get out of debt. Secondly he suggests investment in gold, rather than stocks and bonds which are based on fiat money and are going to decline tremendously in value:
"The derivative market could be a 450 trillion worldwide market that is going to collapse. Just in the hedge funds alone in the United States, and in the mortgage market there is between 3 and 5 trillion dollars of debt that is going to collapse. That means three to five trillion dollars of losses. Somebody is going to have to absorb that and the reason that the federal reserve is throwing out so much money into bank reserves is because we would've already had bank failures."

Dr Corsi also warned against the school of thought that says if you get a bigger mortgage, as long as you have savings to pay for it, you can accelerate the pay off of it with inflation. He stressed that unless you have a long term fixed rate mortgage and you fully understand the terms of your contract you could at any point be subject to a change in terms and the loan could be called in:

"There is going to be a grab on this property by people who have cash, and that's not going to be the middle class. People will lose their homes if they have large mortgages that they cannot comfortably sustain or pay off.

There's going to be a grab where the institutions and the people already wealthy will only gain, it's not going to be an opportunity for the average person to gain."

Corsi also asserted that the ongoing meltdown is a global one and it is going to be very severe, forcing regionalization and providing the impetus to saying harmonization of national economies is the only way we can handle this coming huge recession.

Dr Corsi firmly believes that the crisis is an engineered one on behalf of a global elite who have long pushed for a regionalization, a single currency and a market they can monopolize more effectively:

"It is engineered because again, the move toward globalism, the pumping of this liquidity to stimulate the markets was totally artificial. The federal reserve is going to get caught right now in a total dilemma, if it raises rates to protect the dollar, its going to further tank the economy and cause the housing markets to be in even more of a crisis. We have economic stagnation, the loss of real income, the loss of real wealth and inflation at the same time. With the dropping of the dollar the crisis is going to be manipulated to the point where people will take the Amero or any regional solution if it is proposed as the way you get out of your problem."

He further warned that the 400 billion injected into the stock markets last week is merely a temporary measure to slow down and control an overall meltdown and was only done to prevent a sudden massive crash. mirroring the analysis of the Financial Times of London and former World Bank chief economist Joseph Stiglitz Corsi stated that he sees no way to stop the meltdown, the only doubt left is whether it is going to be a fast or slow process.

He also believes there is an even money chance that there could be a huge 1929 style economic depression:

"This is the fastest run I've seen ever to get to the goal line of creating a Untied States regional economy, a North American Union. The elite are running like they'll never have this chance again. It is the tenth hour, the eleventh hour where this battle will be fought. They believe that they can win now and they are going for broke to create a North American Union and tank the dollar."

The decline of the economy in the US is being caused by the very predatory globalist policies that are still presented to us as the solution for economic turmoil. Globalist vampires such as the IMF and the World bank, but two of the elite central banks and private interests, have drained the third world dry, and are now focusing their attention on enslaving the developed world.

The single currency and a 'new economic order' is a major step on the road to global governance. Europe already has its own strong single currency, while the dollar's days seem to be numbered. When money is being printed and distributed by private corporations is it any surprise to see a push for a merger with other countries' currencies?

Talk has long been of a global currency by 2018 if plans go accordingly. A 1988 famous cover of The Economist emphasized this, depicting a phoenix standing atop burning paper money symbolizing its rise out of their destruction, with the words "Get ready for a world currency" next to it.

The article carried in The Economist, titled "Get Ready for the Phoenix," stated that, "THIRTY years from now, Americans, Japanese, Europeans, and people in many other rich countries, and some relatively poor ones will probably be paying for their shopping with the same currency."

The article went on to state that sovereignty will be lost with the advent of the new currency, but that trends towards globalization are already doing away with it anyway.

The phoenix zone would impose tight constraints on national governments. There would be no such thing, for instance, as a national monetary policy. The world phoenix supply would be fixed by a new central bank, descended perhaps from the IMF. The world inflation rate - and hence, within narrow margins, each national inflation rate- would be in its charge. Each country could use taxes and public spending to offset temporary falls in demand, but it would have to borrow rather than print money to finance its budget deficit. With no recourse to the inflation tax, governments and their creditors would be forced to judge their borrowing and lending plans more carefully than they do today. This means a big loss of economic sovereignty, but the trends that make the phoenix so appealing are taking that sovereignty away in any case. Even in a world of more-or-less floating exchange rates, individual governments have seen their policy independence checked by an unfriendly outside world.

"Pencil in the phoenix for around 2018, and welcome it when it comes," the article concludes.

In 2004 Robert Mundell, the Nobel-prize winning economist often credited with paving the way to the European single currency, called for a global currency.

In an interview with French paper Libération, Mundell said: "With the emergence of the euro and its instability against the dollar, Europe, the United States and the Asian powers should come together and create a new international monetary system."

In 2006 the scandal-ridden and highly secretive Bank For International Settlements, considered to be the world's top central banking policy, released a policy paper that called for the end of national currencies in favor of a global model of currency formats.

The BIS is a branch of the of the Bretton-Woods International Financial architecture and closely allied with the Bilderberg Group. It is controlled by an inner elite that represents all the world's major central banking institutions. John Maynard Keynes, perhaps the most influential economist of all time, wanted it closed down as it was used to launder money for the Nazis in World War II.

It appears we are now seeing the slow realization of a global economic system with a single currency.

The end game of such regionalizing harmonization is of course a global government.

It has long been recognized that an instant world government would be roundly rejected by the masses and that a stepping stone agenda, a stealth implementation of a new global order is the key to its success.

Writing in the April 1974 issue of Foreign Affairs, the flagship publication of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), Richard N. Gardner , who has held a number of State Department posts, argued against what he called "instant world government." Instead, he wrote, "the 'house of world order' will have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down. It will look like a great 'booming, buzzing confusion,' to use William James' famous description of reality, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault."

In a similar sentiment, former National Security Adviser and co-founder of the Trilateral Commission, Zbigniew Brzezinski pointed to "regionalization" as the key for "globalization" in his address to Gorbechev's State of the World Forum in October 1995: "The precondition for eventual globalization — genuine globalization — is progressive regionalization, because thereby we move toward larger, more stable, more cooperative units."

Last May the first steps towards the biggest "cooperative unit" there has ever been were cemented with the groundwork being set for a EU-US single market. However, as the CFR would say, amidst the "booming, buzzing confusion" few have noticed.

Jerome Corsi concluded by re-iterating that the economic crisis has been manufactured in order to provide the pre-scripted neo-mercantilist solution:

"We'd never get rid of the sovereignty of the United States or the dollar unless there was a crisis. The Council on Foreign Relations, two issues ago Ben Steel one of their top economists wrote an article openly declaring that national monetary systems were dead and that we need to go to regional moneys and that we need to go to global moneys. We are going to be told very quickly that the only way the federal government can protect us is if we allow the federal government to become a North American government."

    THIS IS BULLSHIT!!

Companies and party aides cast censorious eye over Wikipedia

    Bobbie Johnson
    London Guardian
    Wednesday Aug 15, 2007

Editing your own entry on Wikipedia is usually the province of vain celebrities keen for some good PR. But a new website has uncovered dozens of companies that have been editing the site in order to improve their public image.

The Wikipedia Scanner, which trawls the backwaters of the popular online encyclopaedia, has unearthed a catalogue of organisations massaging entries, including the CIA and the Labour party.

Workers operating on CIA computers have been spotted editing entries including the biography of former presidents Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon, while unnamed individuals inside the Vatican have worked on entries about Catholic saints - and Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams.

Meanwhile, an anonymous surfer from Labour's Millbank headquarters excised a section about Labour Students which referred to "careerist MPs" and criticisms that the party's student movement was no longer seen as radical.

And somebody from a computer traced to Democrat HQ edited a page on conservative American radio host Rush Limbaugh, calling him "idiotic", "ridiculous" and labelling his 20 million listeners as "legally retarded".

But the biggest culprit that the Scanner claims to have discovered is Diebold, a supplier of voting machines, which it says has made huge alterations to entries about its involvement in the controversial "hanging chad" election in the US in 2000. The company was criticised in the wake of the disputed results, but edits made by its employees on Wikipedia have included the removal of 15 paragraphs detailing the allegations.

"In August 2003 Walden O'Dell, chief executive of Diebold, announced that he had been a top fundraiser for George W Bush ..." the deleted text read. "When assailed by critics for the conflict of interest ... he vowed to lower his political profile."

The change, made two years ago, was quickly reversed and the culprit warned off for "vandalism". A Diebold official was not available for comment.

Águas claras, sou semente do sertão,
Nasço e broto em qualquer chão.
    Sou guerreiro, sou valente,
    Liberdade, sol nascente,
    Vento, brisa, reviver.
    Sou medo, sou desejo,
    Sou destino fracassado,
    Sem você...
    Sou sobreviver...
    Sou sonho encantado,
    Sou amor inacabado,
    Sou o beijo mais sonhado,
    O abraço demorado e apertado,
    Que não dei.
    Sou o sono dos justos,
    Folhas secas dos arbustos,
    Soltas, mortas pelo chão.
Sou a noite enluarada, cantoria afinada,
    Sou a tua projeção.
    Sou sorriso e sou lágrimas...
    Sou começo, eu sou fim.
    Sou momento, sou fascínio,

    The Timeline to Tyranny
Ten advances towards the end of freedom and privacy in the United States

The top ten advances towards tyranny in the United States during the tenure of the Bush administration, from the Patriot Act to the latest expansion of the illegal eavesdropping surveillance program.

    1) The USA Patriot Act

The party line often heard from Neo-Cons in their attempts to defend the Patriot Act either circulate around the contention that the use of the Patriot Act has never been abused or that it isn't being used against American citizens. Here is an archive of articles that disproves both of these fallacies.

The Patriot Act was the boiler plate from which all subsequent attacks on the Constitution were formed.

    2) Total Information Awareness

"Every purchase you make with a credit card, every magazine subscription you buy and medical prescription you fill, every Web site you visit and e-mail you send or receive, every academic grade you receive, every bank deposit you make, every trip you book and every event you attend — all these transactions and communications will go into what the Defense Department describes as "a virtual, centralized grand database," infamously wrote New York Times writer William Safire, announcing the birth of Total Information Awareness, a kind of Echelon on steroids introduced a year after 9/11.

TIA was not canned, it was simply removed from the newspaper, renamed and continues to operate under a guise of different programs.

    3) USA Patriot Act II

The second Patriot Act was a mirror image of powers that Julius Caesar and Adolf Hitler gave themselves. Whereas the First Patriot Act only gutted the First, Third, Fourth and Fifth Amendments, and seriously damaged the Seventh and the Tenth, the Second Patriot Act reorganized the entire Federal government as well as many areas of state government under the dictatorial control of the Justice Department, the Office of Homeland Security and the FEMA NORTHCOM military command.

The Domestic Security Enhancement Act 2003, also known as the Second Patriot Act is by its very structure the definition of dictatorship.

    4) Military Commissions Act

Slamming the final nail in the coffin of everything America used to stand for, the boot-licking U.S. Senate gave President Bush the legal authority to abduct and sexually mutilate American citizens and American children in the name of the war on terror in passing the Military Commissions Act and officially ending Habeas Corpus.

There is nothing in the "detainee" legislation that protects American citizens from being kidnapped by their own government and tortured.

The New York Times stated that the legislation introduced, "A dangerously broad definition of “illegal enemy combatant” in the bill could subject legal residents of the United States, as well as foreign citizens living in their own countries, to summary arrest and indefinite detention with no hope of appeal. The president could give the power to apply this label to anyone he wanted."

Yale Law Professor Bruce Ackerman states in the L.A. Times, "The compromise legislation....authorizes the president to seize American citizens as enemy combatants, even if they have never left the United States. And once thrown into military prison, they cannot expect a trial by their peers or any other of the normal protections of the Bill of Rights."

Similarly, law Professor Marty Lederman explains: "this [subsection (ii) of the definition of 'unlawful enemy combatant'] means that if the Pentagon says you're an unlawful enemy combatant -- using whatever criteria they wish -- then as far as Congress, and U.S. law, is concerned, you are one, whether or not you have had any connection to 'hostilities' at all."

    5) John Warner Defense Authorization Act

The Bush Junta quietly "tooled up" to utilize the U.S. military in engaging American dissidents after the next big crisis, with a frightening and overlooked piece of legislation that was passed alongside the Military Commissions Act, the John Warner Defense Authorization Act, which greased the skids for armed confrontation and abolishes posse comitatus.

    6) Illegal Domestic Wiretapping Program

"Months after the Sept. 11 attacks, President Bush secretly authorized the National Security Agency to eavesdrop on Americans and others inside the United States to search for evidence of terrorist activity without the court-approved warrants ordinarily required for domestic spying, according to government officials," reported the New York Times on December 16, 2005

The secret warrantless spying program was a complete violation of both the 4th Amendment and FISA.

    7) Expansion of Illegal Domestic Wiretapping Program

Not content with now being lawfully allowed to force ISP's and cell phone companies to turn over data about customers without a warrant, the Bush administration is pushing for even more authority to spy on American citizens, and has already been handed a 6 month window within which to impose any surveillance policy it likes, and for that program to remain legal in perpetuity.

The administration has a 6 month window in which to impose any surveillance program it chooses and that program will go unchallenged and remain legally binding in perpetuity - it cannot be revoked. Under the definitions of the legislation, Bush has been granted absolute dictator status for a minimum of 6 months.

If he so chooses, and so long as it's implemented within the next half year, Bush could build a database of every website visited by every American - and the policy would be immune from Congressional challenge even after the "surveillance gap" legislation reaches its sunset

    8) Martial Law Presidential Decision Directive 51

New legislation signed on May 9, 2007, declares that in the event of a "catastrophic event", the President can take total control over the government and the country, bypassing all other levels of government at the state, federal, local, territorial and tribal levels, and thus ensuring total unprecedented dictatorial power.

The National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive, which also places the Secretary of Homeland Security in charge of domestic "security", was signed earlier this month without the approval or oversight of Congress and seemingly supercedes the National Emergency Act which allows the president to declare a national emergency but also requires that Congress have the authority to "modify, rescind, or render dormant" such emergency authority if it believes the president has acted inappropriately.

    9) Destruction of the Dollar

Former World Bank Vice President, Chief Economist and Nobel Prize winner Joseph Stiglitz has predicted a global economic crash within 24 months - unless the current downturn is successfully managed. Asked if the situation was being properly handled Stiglitz emphatically responded "no,".

Stiglitz caused controversy in October 2001 when he exposed rampant corruption within the IMF and blew the whistle on their nefarious methods of inducing countries to fall under their debt before stripping them of sovereignty and hollowing out their economies. Stiglitz agreed that the process of hijacking and looting key infrastructure on the part of the IMF and World Bank, as an offshoot of predatory globalization, had now moved from the third world to Europe, the United States and Canada.

    10) Amnesty & The North American Union

The open plan to merge the US with Mexico and Canada and create a Pan American Union has long been a Globalist brainchild but its very real and prescient implementation on behalf of the Council on Foreign Relations has finally been reported on by mainstream news outlets.

The framework on which the American Union is being pegged is the NAFTA Super Highway, a four football-fields-wide leviathan that stretches from southern Mexico through the US up to Montreal Canada .Coupled with Bush's blanket amnesty program, the Pan American Union is the final jigsaw piece for the total dismantling of America as we know it.

Homeland Security To Covertly Scan Behaviour

Homeland Security To Covertly Scan Behaviour
Minority Report technology to analyze behaviour and physiology and determine Whether you are a terrorist or not

    Steve Watson
    Infowars.net

    day, August 9, 2007

The United States Department of Homeland Security is to install a host of new technology to covertly scan the behaviour and emotions of American citizens in an effort to prevent terrorism according to an upcoming article in the New Scientist.

Scientists and engineers have been asked to devise ways of analysing people's behaviour and physiology from afar, in the hope they may reveal clues about their mental state and even their future intentions, reports the London Guardian.

A program named Project Hostile Intent (PHI) is aiming by 2010 to develop technology that can scan the bodily functions of citizens without them knowing and uncover any possible hostile intent or deception.

Testimony by the American Psychological Association (PDF link) states that "Project Hostile Intent aims to detect and model the behavioral cues that indicate an individual’s intent to carry out acts of terrorism." The testimony continues:

The cues examined in PHI are those that can be assessed remotely and in real time, and the procedures and technologies required to collect these cues are non-invasive and amenable to integration into busy operational contexts.

In other words the technology will be covertly placed in public and will operate just like CCTV, with DHS officials able to remotely access it and apply its use to anyone in the area.

The DHS offers a further brief explanation of Project Hostile Intent here.

The Guardian reports that the DHS has revealed to New Scientist that technology to be used for PHI includes lasers, cameras, eye trackers, microphones and heart rate and breathing sensors. The DHS has also stated that it wishes to develop a lie detector-type test that can be used remotely which is described as "an advantage because it would not interfere with the flow of a crowd and it could be used without the target's knowledge."

The report also states that the Project represents an enhancement of technology already in use to scan faces in crowds, details of which we have previously covered.

Infowars has posted hundreds of articles over the years detailing the involvement of DARPA and the Defense Department in mandating that the States adopt uniform biometrics on state licenses and ID cards, RFID tracker chips to replace the bar-code, and cameras that recognize individuals by their faces, walk, vehicle type or license plate number. Now the DHS is taking America all the way down the line towards the big brother state.

Peter McOwan, a computer scientist who is developing sensors to detect people's moods at Queen Mary, University of London, told the Guardian: "It's just like something from Minority Report. They have been watching too many Tom Cruise movies."

Indeed, the use of this technology for crime prevention and social control is beyond anything Orwell predicted, and is directly lifted from Phillip K Dick's Minority Report, which was recently made into a feature film. See below:

Is this the kind of society we want to live in? Clearly not. Is there even a debate about that?

Once again however, those detached from any kind of moral reality will say "If you've got nothing to hide then what is the problem with being scanned for pre-crime? If it keeps us all safe from terrorists I'm all for it". How far towards a literal technological police state can America slip before its people wake up to the fact?

We have also previously covered reports out of Britain that detail how teams of neuroscientists have developed technology that allowing them to look deep inside a person's brain and read their intentions before they act.

The technology is no longer science fiction. The London Guardian report on the developments earlier this year debated whether a 'Minority Report' era, where judgments are handed down before the law is broken on the strength of an incriminating brain scan, is ethical or not.

And what will be the punishment for pre-crime? With moves to "chemically castrate" sex offenders by eliminating their sexual desires, seriously being considered now, how far fetched is it to imagine a future thought criminal's brain being "corrected" by eliminating the relevant desires or emotions picked up by a brain scan?

It is not beyond reason to expect this technology to be implemented without debate. Can anyone remember a real meaningful debate occurring concerning surveillance cameras before four million of them went up in London?

We have also previously reported on documents leaked from the Home Office in London revealing that the British government is looking into using X-ray technology cameras by concealing them in lamp posts to "trap terror suspects".

With the Bush administration's new ability to implement any surveillance programs it now wishes without oversight, and rabid neocon lapdogs calling for the heads of anyone who questions them, a pandora's box has been opened that threatens to turn America into a big brother panopticon state.

So get it straight, you are helping the terrorists by resisting having your behaviour scanned. Plus, if you have anti-big brother government feelings Project Hostile Intent will certainly expose you for he terrorist you are.

Canada and Bush's North American Union project

    Online Journal
    Thursday Aug 9, 2007

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist." --Dwight D. Eisenhower (1890-1969), 34th US President, Farewell Address, Jan. 17, 1961

“An agreement [with the U.S.] to harmonize trade, security, or defence practices would, in the end, require Canada and Mexico to . . . cede to the United States power over foreign trade and investment, environmental regulation, immigration, and, to a large degree, foreign policy, and even monetary and fiscal policy.” --Roy McLaren, former liberal trade minister

Look for a very strong backlash coming from the Canadian people, but also from the American and Mexican peoples, once they clearly understand what the Bush-Calderon-Harper trio has been concocting in near complete secrecy and with nearly no public debate whatsoever, over the last few years.

Indeed, the three relatively unpopular governments presently in charge in Washington, Ottawa and Mexico, have aligned themselves with very large corporations, most of them American owned, to lay the foundations for a new North American Union, (NAU) also called the "Deep Integration" project. This would be a new permanent alliance that would be de facto placed under American control. Canada and Mexico would have to harmonize many of their laws and regulations to suit the interests of big business and the undemocratic and imperial ambitions of the U.S. government around the world.

With such a plan for an enlarged continental integration at both the economic and political levels, we are far from the initial program of fair and free trade for goods and services and for removing barriers to trade between the three countries, as initially envisaged by the 1988 Free Trade Agreement, (FTA) between Canada and the United States. It has to be remembered that under the 1994 North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Canada not only accepted that Mexico be incorporated into the North American free trade zone, but made substantial concessions regarding the Investment Canada Act's rules for American takeovers of Canadian companies and for a privileged American access to Canadian energy resources. This should have sufficed to keep the American market open to Canadian exporters. It seems that this is no longer the case. Large corporations and the U.S. administration alike want to take advantage of the terrorist threat to go much further in extracting concessions from Canada.

Indeed, under the leadership of large American owned corporations, which operate freely on both sides of the border, and with the new security concerns of the U.S. administration, the initial trade objective is being further expanded and pushed to a much higher level. The idea now is to turn the trade agreements into some sort of an umbrella political organization that would be parallel to the 27-nation European Union.

In fact, it could mean a more ambitious project that could go even further than the EU toward economic and political integration in North America. In Europe, the more than two dozen participating countries have retained control over their armed forces and over their foreign policies and, what is very important, no single country exercises a hegemonic control over the entire alliance. That would not be the case in North America, however, because of the overwhelming importance of the United States vis-a-vis the other two countries.

Indeed, what has been advanced for Canada, Mexico and the United States -- three countries very much dissimilar in populations, cultures and outlooks -- could go as far as de facto merging the armed forces and foreign policies of all three countries to form a sort of Fortress North America under the protectorate of the United States. Any such deep integration beyond trade relationships would place the United States and its government in the driver's seat, with the other two countries somewhat relegated to the status of near political and economic colonies.

It won't work. For one thing, the Canadian people will never accept that Canada become a colony of the United States, and the current minority government of Stephen Harper could pay dearly politically if it continues pushing in that direction. Canadians do not want their armed forces and their foreign policy to be de facto merged with those of imperial America. Moreover, they do not want their natural resources to be placed under U.S. control and exploited nearly completely by large American corporations, which have little regard for Canada's sovereignty and little concern for the welfare of Canadians. Also, they do not want the Canadian dollar ditched in favor of a less and less attractive U.S. dollar, as some have suggested.

However, all this could be the end result of the secretive efforts that have been deployed at the highest levels under the disguise of the mysterious acronym of "SPP," the so-called program of Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, also referred to by its proponents as "Deep Integration." This integration initiative was officially launched in a summit meeting between George W. Bush (USA), Vicente Fox (Mexico) and Paul Martin (Canada), held in Waco Texas, on March 23, 2005.

Large Canadian corporations and not so "Canadian" corporations any more -- such as Alcan, about to be sold to British owned Rio Tinto -- and many Canadian subsidiaries of American corporations have been the driving force behind the push for a North American Union. In Canada, they are regrouped within the Canadian Council of Chief Executives (CCCE), which has been lobbying the Harper government in favor of the plan.

Among the 150 corporate members of the Canadian Council of CEOs, alongside large Canadian banks and corporations, one finds many leading American corporations that have branches or subsidiaries in Canada, such as du Pont, FedEx, General Electric, General Motors, Chrysler, Hewlett-Packard, Home Depot, IBM, Imperial Oil, Kodak, 3M, Microsoft, Pratt & Whitney, Suncor, Wyeth, Xerox, etc. These CEOs do not really see Canada as a country separate from the United States, but more as an adjacent market to be occupied and controlled.

It was four years ago, in January 2003, that the CCCE launched its North American Security and Prosperity Initiative (NASPI). The politicians then followed suit. The CCCE's initiative advanced a strategy comprising five major elements:

    1- The reinvention of Canada-U.S.-Mexico borders;

    2- The maximization of regulatory efficiencies;

    3- The negotiation of a comprehensive continental resource security pact;

    4- The negotiation of a North American defence alliance;

5- And the creation of a new institutional framework for this new North American Union.

Then the Canadian Council of CEOs enlisted the support of two other organizations, first, the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations, a foreign affairs outfit that has been strongly supportive of George W. Bush's war against Iraq and, second, the Mexican Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales.

Their joint task force, called the Independent Task Force on the Future of North America, issued a report in May 2005, whose title was "Building a North American Community." The report contained 39 specific recommendations aimed at de facto erasing borders and at creating a single North American economic and security space within a North American political partnership, involving the United States, Canada and Mexico.

In a nutshell, the Task Force’s central recommendation was to establish, by 2010 (only three years from now!!!), a North American economic and security community, the North American Union, the boundaries of which would be defined by a common external tariff and a common outer security perimeter, including a common border pass. That is the essence of the proposed new "Deep Integration" project: One market, one economic border, and one official security apparatus. Nobody is talking yet of "one flag" or "one currency," but that could come.

This proposal has been discussed at summits held by the leaders of the three involved countries, first in Waco, Texas, in March 2005, to launch the initiative, then one year later in Cancun, Mexico, in March 2006, where it was decided to create the 30-member North American Competitiveness Council (NACC), a tri-national working group responsible for setting priorities for the SPP and to act as a stable driver of the deep integration process through changes in government in all three countries.

On August 20-21 (2007), at Château Montebello, in Montebello, Québec, American President George W. Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Mexican President Felipe Calderon will again discuss the project during a third (SPP) summit.

For most Canadians, until now, this trilateral initiative seemed simply to pursue the goal of facilitating trade and travel between the three countries, in a way that would not jeopardize the implementation of security measures that have become necessary in the aftermath of 9/11. For sure, if this were the only objective of such trilateral political and bureaucratic consultations (and they started in 2001), most people would understand the need, either for new physical installations at the border and/or for new administrative arrangements designed to reduce transit times, through pre-customs clearing or otherwise. They would not have the fear of seeing their government embarking on a wholesale abandonment of their national sovereignty.

As of now, however, one suspects that the long lines of Canadian trucks frequently observed at the U.S-Canada border, six years after 9/11, reflect some bad faith on the part of the U.S. government. It seems to be using terrorist threats as a excuse to raise its protectionist stance and a reason for applying undue pressures on the relatively inexperienced Harper government. Canadians remember how the Bush-Cheney administration refused to follow the rulings of numerous NAFTA arbitration panels and imposed upon Canada a managed trade deal for softwood lumber trade.

In any case, the objectives being pursued by the "Deep Integration" project go far beyond shortening transit times at the border. They are much more numerous and much more controversial and risky for Canada's national sovereignty than simply building larger installations and harmonizing border controls to enhance trade and travel flows.

Indeed, the real overall goal of the "Deep Integration" project goes much further and would ultimately lead to the creation of a North American Union of a political and not only an economic nature, within which the three countries, but especially a smaller country such as Canada, could lose much of their national sovereignty. It would be an economic and political arrangement resembling the European Union, which encompasses more than two dozen countries, but in North America it is to be feared that such a union would have an imperial twist. It would transform NAFTA into a common market and would force the two smaller partners to change all their relevant laws and regulations to conform to American laws and regulations, including toeing the American line on defense and foreign policies.

As can be seen, we are quite far from the idea of simply having facilitated border controls for products and people. What these secret meetings are envisaging is more like a new political and comprehensive alliance between the United States, Canada and Mexico. But because of the force of gravity, this also means, in practice, that the United States will turn Canada, and to a certain extent Mexico, into quasi colonies of the U.S. Indeed, the United States is a political elephant that does pretty much what it wants, especially under the Bush-Cheney administration, while Canada and Mexico are, at best, a small beaver in one case, and a small fox in the other. This could have the consequence of considerably reducing the quality of democratic life in Canada.

And that's where the rubber hits the road. Once a medium size country accepts a de facto merger of its defence policy with the policy of a much larger one, and all the more so with the United States which is an empire, it becomes very difficult for the former to maintain an independent foreign policy. Its national sovereignty risks being forever diminished and compromised.

Many Canadians justly fear that the kind of "Deep Integration" that is being planned and promoted in relative secrecy could lead to the abandonment of an independent Canadian foreign policy, the loss of independence of the Canadian Armed forces, and the loss of national control over Canada's national resources, forcing Canada to abandon the economic rents over its oil and gas reserves, but also over its water and its hydroelectric power.

Some even fear that the next big step would be the abandonment of the Canadian dollar, in favor of the U.S. dollar, and the loss of independent monetary and fiscal policies. If this is not the case, where are the safeguards for Canada's sovereignty and independence? What are the democratic foundations of such an enlarged political union? What are the political and economic costs relative to the expected economic gains? There exists no study to my knowledge that evaluates these overall questions in order to form the basis for an enlightened public debate.

Therefore, we have to conclude that the plan for a very "Deep Integration" of Canada within North America is basically flawed, if not fundamentally democratically subversive. There has been no thorough public debate on the issue, even though the minority Harper government would certainly have to consult and persuade Canadians before tabling any special legislation that would need to be enacted before the project could be implemented.

Such a public debate has not taken place yet. On the contrary, everything seems to have been planned to keep it away from the public eye with all discussions being held behind closed doors. This should be enough to raise suspicions, even though the ongoing discussions are not yet legally binding. In a more or less near future, however, the ad hoc arrangements so discussed are likely to lead to a new formal agreement or even a new treaty between the three countries. This is presently denied, but the logic of the operation militates in favor of the last option.

I personally think the issue is of such paramount importance that sooner or later we need a countrywide referendum on the entire "Deep Integration" project. A general election is not sufficient to settle such a complicated issue, because a single political party can gather a minority of votes and squeeze into power between numerous opposition parties. No fundamental democratic legitimacy for such an important political project can be obtained through a general election. For that, a special national referendum would be required so that the sovereign people can decide.

    A vida é desafio!!

Aprendi a dar valor as grandes e pequenas coisas

Eu vejo o corpo, a mente, a alma, espírito
Falo do cérebro e do coração
Vejo egoísmo preconceito de irmão pra irmão
    A vida não é o problema é batalha desafio
Cada obstáculo é uma lição eu anuncio

É isso ai você não pode parar
Esperar o tempo ruim vir te abraçar
Acreditar que sonhar sempre é preciso!!!
